Would you like to join Scarborough Harmony Chorus?
Rehearsals:
We rehearse weekly on Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm – 9:30pm, taking only a short break in December for the holidays and then again in June for a summer break.

Our rehearsals are open – so why not come out to meet us and hear us sing. Experience is not necessary, just the ability to carry a tune and learn.
Membership:
A five-week trial membership is available for potential new members, where you can attend rehearsals, receive free vocal training from an experienced director, and meet the chorus members.
You will eventually need to pass an audition to join the group, usually after 4 to 6 weeks of rehearsal.
On your first visit:
Our membership coordinator will introduce you to the members of the chorus. You may be invited to join in to warm up with the group. During the rehearsal, the director will take you aside for a private voice placement. This is not an audition, but a chance to see which voice part may suit you best. You’ll then be able to participate in the rehearsal. You’ll be placed near chorus members who sing the same part the director has placed you in.
